FDS Trips

When the visionary of Femme De Substance; Ruth Emmanuel-Makandiwa laid out her vision in 2017 for FDS, she mentioned that apart from training sessions, business expos and spiritual impartation; the ladies would also be travelling as a group, annually, for trips within Zimbabwe and across different countries, for leisure and business. This is how the FDS Ladies Outings came to being.

The FDS Ladies Outings are designed to give hardworking women a time to relax and recharge in a calm and peaceful environment. These trips are not only about fun and adventure, but they also come with an opportunity to learn, build business networks and be inspired by other significant and successful women in business. The initial trip in 2019 was in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, the second trip in 2022 after the COVID 19 pandemic was a spiritual pilgrimage to the Holy Land of Israel and in 2023, the ladies had a cruise ship vacation in Dubai.
